Visit to the Valley of god

Lines said by the poet not only matches for the Kashmir, but also for himachal.
In the dawn and fore noon of Day 1, holy celebrations on the road sides, paddy fields, irrigation channels on the way. It is about 270 km of non stop drive, including 80 km of mountain drive form Kalka to reach Shimla.
By 11’o clock in the morning reached “the capital of himachal” after crossing lots of military trucks and Himachal Pradesh road transport corporation’s buses. Houses and hotels in the edges of the mountains throughout the city as well as the whole state.
Shimla to Kullu, 240km of thrilling eight hours journey in the Himalayas, having uncountable U–turns, forests of pines, oak and deodar on the mightiest mountain ranges.
On the way, beautiful to see the red faced Children’s returning home from school by crossing the mountains. Since the school are very less, they have to travel one to another mountain for education. Seeing these things, reached a place called Mandi, giving a way to the moon sun finishes his duty, from there the night drive starts.
Mandi to Kullu, “the capital of Kullu district” about 50 Km of journey in the Picturesque Beas valley – the valley of God, fast flowing Beas river in the deep gorges takes every one to the paradise, full moon peeping through the Pine tress of Beas valley the drive ends for night stay at Kullu.
It is early morning of Day 2, beautiful to witness the snow covered mountains through the window and children’s playing cricket. Apple orchards, mustard cultivation, streams of beas river, water falls from the sky, drizzling on the way to manali from Kullu.
Rothang Pass, it is 52 Km from Manali, Snow falls like the Jasmine from the sky, Sky touching tress are mostly covered by the snow, only could reach kothi , since the roads are covered by the snow. If crossing 300 km can reach Little Tibet “Ladakh”.
Ancient himachal village “Naggar”, Tibetan monastery, vashist spring water bath, visits to Hadimba and Manu temple, takes every one to the peace of mind.
